Marawi City, Philippines-The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) held  6^th Islamic Seminar last June 2, 2009 in Marawi City.

 

The 6^th Islamic Seminar for Muslim women was held on June 2, 2009 at 8-12 morning at Sahara Function Hall in Marawi City. This affair was sponsored by the WAMY based in Cagayan De Oro City led by its Executive Director Aleem Monib “Abu Yusoph” Sarangani in coordination with the Rabitaton al-Nisa al-Khayriyah, Inc. based in Marawi City led by its Acting President Aleema Jamilah Panda.

 
 

 

Aleem Bato, Chief of the Education Department of WAMY in CDO, was the invited lecturer who gave the lecture on the status and role of Muslim women in Islam.
