President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo called for a thorough military investigation into the killings of the seven civilians and an off-duty soldier during an operation against al-Qaida-linked militants in the southern Philippines, the Defense chief Gilbero Teodoro said Saturday. Amirah Ali Lidasan of Suara Bangsamoro joined Sulu-based Bangsamoro organizations on Saturday February 9 in a picket-rally to denounce the massacre in Bgy. Ipil, Maimbong, Sulu on February 4 ..   They picket was in front of the Jolo Airport in time for the visit of National Defense Secretary Giblerto Teodoro to meet the victims and soldiers in Jolo, Sulu.
 
Sulu Governor Sakur Tan, Jolo Mayor Hussein Amin and the rest of the civil society organizations in Sulu staged a rally in front of the Municipal Hall in Jolo, Sulu on Saturday February 9 to protest the massacre of civilians in Bgy. Ipil, Maimbong on February 4.
 
Residents of Sulu urge local government and national officials to look into the masscre of civilians in Bgy. Ipil, Maimbong and called for the soldiers to be held accountable for the killing.

	when will we ever learn? sulu was razed to the ground in the early 70s by the bullets of non-moros... tausugs mostly were slain like animals earlier in the infamous jabidah massacre... recently, they play hosts to masked enemies... they welcome with open arms the GI Joes especially... they are the only people in this sinking country who love the ID system... gov. tan and the lady vice gov. even seen in tv of their endearment to the ID system... will they ever be reminded that the only way these non-believers will like them is if and when they (moros) worship their crucified lord? MasaAllah!!!
