Marawi City, Philippines : Tarompong sa Ranao Radio Forum, one of the leading radio forums in Lanao del Sur in the Philippines , will celebrates its second founding anniversary on December 8,2007 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon in Marawi City .  The specific venue of this affair is yet to be fixed since the committee on program is still looking the most conducive place in the city. During this affair, the new recruited members will be confirmed and the entire membership will elect the new set of officers. 

This Radio Forum serves as:  information broadcasting outlet to the general public using VHF two-way radios and other available communication facilities; and venue of interface and in-deep discussion on the prevailing issues and problems affecting the well being of the general public. It will conduct, sponsor, assist, implement and/or coordinate with other agencies both government and private in the implementation of programs, projects and activities geared towards sustainable development in the locality and  can enter into an agreement and/or receive donations from individuals or group of individuals both domestic and foreign in the attainment of its primary purpose; performs reaction and emergency activities in close coordination with the duly authorities in the area; and performs other gainful legal activities which are deemed necessary in the attainment of its goals. 

 This Radio Forum also provides everyday information with tact and prudence in order to achieve prosperous society, peaceful Muslim society and better socio-economic life of the Muslims in Mindanao .       

 In order to realize its objectives, programs and vision,  molding the value of Taqwa  (fear in Allah)  among the members, are the priority concern of the officers and members of this Forum.
